Sean is one of the country’s leading millennial estate planners, helping clients create tax-efficient legacies tailored to each family’s needs.
Clients rely on Sean for estate planning, trust and estate administration, and representation of beneficiaries and fiduciaries in contested Surrogate’s Court matters. He also advises international families on U.S. tax issues affecting wealth transfers, including non-citizens with U.S. assets and U.S. citizens with interests in foreign trusts.
Sean also handles matrimonial matters, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and post-divorce trust modifications.
Sean is an adjunct professor at New York University School of Law, where he teaches trust, estate, international estate planning, and charitable giving tax courses. He is also co-author of The Income Taxation of Trusts and Estates, a fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and a frequent speaker at leading tax conferences.
